
The Sidewinder
LIQUOR: Apricot Liqueur, Brandy

When Terry Oliver of Fraser’s Restaurant and Lounge in Saint Louis first introduced us to The Sidewinder, we were immediately enthralled! This cocktail has become Bill’s all-time favorite cocktail.
It is a most pleasing combination of spirits (cognac, liqueurs) and juice. The palate is sweet -tart with a bright clean finish. The combination of ginger and apricot gives the drink a mildly spiced fruitiness that is complemented and refined by the hints of dried fruit and mild nuttiness of the cognac. This is an all-around delight!

Ingredients
- 1 oz Big O
- 1 oz Rothman and Winter Apricot Liqueur
- ¾ oz Camus VS
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- Lemon zest and fresh mint garnish
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients until well-chilled.
- Strain over a single large ice cube.
- Lemon zest and mint garnish.
