This “sour” is another great use of Big O and rye whiskey. The lemon and apple cider, as well as the bitters, lend it a freshness and complexity that is seductive.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1½ oz rye
- ¾ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz apple cider
- 3 dashes Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas’ Own Decanter Bitters
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker.
- Shake to chill.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with an apple fan and mint sprig.
- Grate fresh cinnamon on top.
