We serve this cocktail with Thanksgiving dinner. Big O and bourbon are a perfect pair. Add the warmed apple cider, and the full, sensual joy of Autumn breaks out.



  • 1 oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 oz rye whiskey or bourbon
  • 4 oz warm fresh apple cider


  1. Pour Big O Ginger Liqueur and whiskey into the cup (or mug).
  2. Warm the cider until it is steaming (don’t let it boil).
  3. Pour cider into the cup.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice and mint leaves.
