This surprising cocktail is another variation on the whiskey sour but with a spicy kick that is both surprising and delicious. The addition of the egg white in the shake softens the effect with a calming silky mouthfeel.
Recipe
Ingredients
- ¼ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1 oz lime juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- 10-12 drops of Hellfire Bitters
- An egg white
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice.
- Shake for 15 seconds.
- Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with lime zest.
