This drink reminds us of early autumn. Perhaps it is the pear nectar or the rich spice of Big O and rum. Maybe the spark of lemon recalls the passing of summer. Whatever it is, this cocktail gives one a lot to love. Cheers!
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
- ¾ oz Plantation Grand Reserve Barbados rum
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz pear nectar
- 1 egg white
- 1 drop of Absinthe
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake for 15 seconds.
- Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Flame an orange peel over the top and add one drop of absinthe.
- Garnish with a twist.
