Our talented friend Mel James created this cocktail for a special pop-up dinner years ago. It has the most interesting and pleasing combination of spice, bitter, sweet, sour and fruit imaginable. The strawberry-balsamic syrup is a delightful addition along with the sparkling wine topper.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
- ½ oz Campari
- ½ oz strawberry/balsamic syrup
- 1 oz sparkling wine
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (except sparkling wine) in a shaker with ice.
- Shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled champagne flute.
- Top with sparkling wine.
