O Sazerac


This lovely variation on the New Orleans Sazerac cocktail eliminates the need for sugar to sweeten the rye. Big O does the job with a burst of rich flavors that enhance the gentle anise of the absinthe.



  • 1 oz Big O
  • 1 oz rye
  • 1 oz Absinthe
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters


  1. Stir ingredients well with cracked ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
