This is a sweet-savory drink with a little Tabasco kick. The addition of the spring onion makes us think of brunch.



  • 1½ oz Old Weller 107
  • 1½ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • one dash Tabasco
  • spring onion
  • sprig of thyme


  1. Muddle onion and Tabasco in Big O Ginger Liqueur.
  2. Add whiskey and ice.
  3. Shake until chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of thyme.
