This surprising cocktail is another variation on the whiskey sour but with a spicy kick that is both surprising and delicious. The addition of the egg white in the shake softens the effect with a calming silky mouthfeel.



  • ¼ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 10-12 drops of Hellfire Bitters
  • An egg white


  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice.
  2. Shake for 15 seconds.
  3. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with lime zest.
