Butter Me Up


Snuggle up with this drink on a cold winter’s night. It is a spiced version of the hot buttered rum from Dickens’ era. Rum and Big O are pals, but the addition of the creamy butter to the mix makes it rich and soothing.



  • 1½ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • 1½ oz dark rum
  • 1 oz hot water
  • 1 pat unsalted butter


  1. In a mug, mix Big O Ginger Liqueur and rum.
  2. Add the butter and top with hot water.
