Big O Mojito

We were in Cuba recently and drank a lot of mojitos. Sadly, they paled in comparison to the Big O version. They seemed flat. Every summer, we make pitchers of this cocktail to serve friends who join us for evenings filled with laughter, great conversation, and good food. Rum, lime, Big O, and mint. Simple and so good!

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 oz rum
  • 4 fresh mint leaves, crushed
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz club soda

Instructions

  1. Muddle the lime juice and mint leaves in the bottom of a shaker.
  2. Add ice, Big O Ginger Liqueur, and rum.
  3. Shake vigorously and strain into a glass with fresh ice.
  4. Add soda, stir and garnish with a sprig of mint.
