St. Louis Sour

Ted Kilgore has given us a number of Big O classics in the tiki genre. This is particularly delicious. The interplay of the gin, Big O and citrus juices is bright and exciting. The addition of the nutty and citrusy orgeat softens and unifies the mix and makes it silky on the tongue.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 oz North Shore No. 11 gin
  • ½ oz orgeat
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Quick shake with crushed ice.
  2. Strain into a highball glass with ice.
  3. Garnish with orchid and umbrella.
