Poor Humbert Humbert ought to have gone for this cocktail rather than be tempted by its namesake. This is a sweet, versatile winter drink best served over ice – and for a change of pace, with a bit of club soda and/or a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Alternatively, serve it as a chilled shot for a spicy almond jumpstart to the evening.



  • 1½ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • ½ oz amaretto


  1. Combine ingredients together in a tumbler with ice.
  2. Stir gently and serve.
  3. Garnish with lemon zest.
