Aperitivos are all the rage these days with their sweet-bitter character and palate-clearing quality. We have to admit we’ve come to love their herbal zing and bitter finish. That’s what makes this concoction so adventurous – yet nicely unified and balanced by the sweet spice of Big O. The lemon sparks and brightens the flavors and helps soften the bitterness.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¾ oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
  • ¾ oz Cocchi Americano
  • ¾ oz Campari
  • ¾ oz lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with a mint leaf.
