Burning Desire Punch

Tiki cocktails are all the rage these days because of their festive combination of different spirits and tropical fruit juices. Burning Desire is a delicious take on tiki with its combination of Big O and rhubarb liqueurs for its base and then the addition of orange and lime juices. The hints of clove and cinnamon, as well as the silkiness of the egg white, make this an intriguing and delightful summer cocktail.

Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 oz Big O Ginger Liqueur
- ¾ oz Art in the Age Rhubarb (rhubarb-based liqueur)
- ¾ oz orange juice
- ½ lime juice
- ½ cinnamon syrup (recipe below)
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- Add cloves to mixing glass.
- Break up with muddler.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 20 seconds.
- Add ice, hard shake for 10 seconds.
- Double strain into chilled coupe.
- Garnish with 4 drops angostura bitters and a lemon twist.
- Cinnamon syrup: 12 cinnamon sticks, 4 cups water, 4 cups sugar in the raw; bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes; strain.
